The objective of Children’s Feeding Programs is to help alleviate childhood hunger by providing children with access to fresh, healthy, and warm meals in afterschool and summer programs.
South Plains Food Bank Children’s Feeding Program partners with various community sites to provide free meals and snacks to low income children.
Children’s Feeding at South Plains Food Bank is funded 100% by charitable donations from businesses and individuals alike across the South Plains.

The Mobile Market Trailer initiative aims to empower families facing food insecurity by offering them the freedom to choose the items they need free of charge and without any questions asked. By allowing individuals to select the items themselves, South Plains Food Bank emphasizes dignity and respect, acknowledging that every family’s dietary preference and restriction are unique.
At South Plains Food Bank, we are committed to ensuring that no child in our community goes hungry. Our Children’s Feeding Programs provide nutritious meals and snacks to children facing food insecurity, helping them grow, learn, and thrive.
Through these initiatives, South Plains Food Bank is making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. With the support of donors, volunteers, and community partners, we are working to create a future where every child has the food they need to succeed. Join us in the fight against childhood hunger!
