Employee Highlight: Ranu Manik
We’d like you to meet the South Plains Food Bank’s Chief Financial Officer, Ranu Manik!
Ranu joined our hunger-fighting team in 2022 after working for several years in the finance department at LP&L. She is a certified public accountant with a Bachelor of Science and MSA degrees in accounting from East Carolina University. Ranu has a true talent for best practices in accounting and a personal way of presenting budgets and numbers to others, with 10 years of experience in the field of financial statement and auditing analysis.
In other words, she’s a skilled, knowledgeable, and well-seasoned pro!
Ranu was selected for the Top 20 Under 40 by the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce in 2023 and enjoys being a certified yoga instructor in her spare time, as well as traveling and experiencing the world.
She moved to North Carolina from India in her teens and brings a wealth of experience and fun to the food bank. She is married to her loving husband, Dyanesh, who is currently working through his residency to specialize in nephrology. We would be remiss not to mention their pride and joy, a giant goldendoodle named Chundo, which means “pickle” in Hindi!
